Having Trouble Going to Sleep?
Maybe you need a change of mindset before hitting the covers
There’s no doubt about it: Getting enough sleep is important to our overall well-being and state of mind.
While we understand the necessity of racking up the Z’s, sometimes sleep simply eludes us.
With restless thoughts and limbs, we wonder how we can possibly take our minds off the worries of the day. So we try a few relaxing strategies, like listening to calming music, turning off the computer, even sitting quietly for a few minutes of meditation.
When we think we’re ready to slip between the sheets, we head for the cozy comfort of bed.
Then our head hits the pillow, and our eyes pop open - again.
While I don’t profess to have all the answers, maybe I can offer a suggestion. Here’s a video that may provide a few ideas for allowing you to get into a different mindset - and have a night of pleasurable uninterrupted dreams …
Give it a try.
After all, what do you have to lose - except another night’s sleep?
Until next time,
